DAVID ANTHONY CASANOVA

"If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane,
I would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again."

about david

David Anthony Casanova, 59, entered into eternal peace in May 2021 at his home in Bakersfield, CA. David was born on July 25th, 1961. Graduated from James Monroe Highschool, 1980.

David started playing the drums at 9 years old. He would play Creedence Clearwater and sit all day listening and learning to play each track. He did a lot of dreaming about a future in music while laying on the bottom of his bunkbed. Looking up and dreaming big! This passion for music never stopped and turned into a lifetime of memories playing gigs, traveling the world and creating music with several bands.

David loved the great outdoors. His favorite place to find serenity and joy was at Twin Lakes, Bridgeport. It was here that he would take quality time to make the best memories with his daughters and friends. He made sure to have fun by fishing, hiking, eating ice cream, campfires, being silly and making adventures happen. This was an annual trip that David would take and make a huge priority in his life.

David was blessed with three beautiful daughters.

Devyn (30), Faith (19), Alyssa (13)

We would love for you to share a memory or two about you and David. Life is created by stories and moments shared. We know that David had many different friendships along his journey and we would be so honored if you would help us create a storybook of David's life for his girls.
